Trainees learn first aid, fire-fighting, environmental regulations, housekeeping, trade tools, and kitchen operations. They practice vegetable cuts, cooking methods, Indian and continental cuisine, breakfast, soups, sauces, regional dishes, salads, sandwiches, canapés, juices, cold foods, and bakery items. The course includes two months of on-the-job training in the hotel industry for hands-on experience.
